Description
Colorless liquid that self-polymerizes to form polyvinylidene chloride. Polyvinylidene chloride is used to make saran fibers and food wrapping film.

Hazards and Safety
Toxic by inhalation. Skin contact causes irritation.
Extremely flammable. Flash point = 5.6 C. Explosive limits in air 5.6-11.4%.
