Description A rough, inexpensive paper that was used for frawer liners, wrapping rifle cartridges, shot gun shells, and dynamite. Cartridge paper is an unbleached, unsized paper that was waxed on one side to make it waterproof. Cartridge paper is generally made from chemical wood pulp and/or esparto grass.
