Description
Wood from the tree, Eschweilera corrugata, native to Surinam. Although it is reddish in color, the strong durable wood of the manbarklak tree is sold as a substitute for Demerara greenheart wood. Manbarklak has excellent weathering characteristics but it is scarce and rarely used.
