Description
[Honeywell (formerly Allied-Signal, Inc.), Morristown, NJ] A registered trademark for an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer. A-C®540 is a white, waxy solid with a slight waxy odor. The product is used commercially for hot-melt adhesives, paper coatings, floor polishes, and waterproof textile treatments. Other similar A-C® ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers include A-C® 520, A-C® 580, A-C® 5120, and A-C® 5180.
