The total mass of Water in a given volume of Air, i.e. the density of the water vapor. Absolute humidity is reported as grams of water per cubic meter of air. However, because the density of water vapor changes depending on the atmospheric Pressure and Temperature, Relative humidity measurements are more commonly used.
