Art Conservation Program, State University College at Buffalo

"The Art Conservation Department of Buffalo State College opened in 1970 as the Cooperstown Graduate Program in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. During the first 13 years of its existence, it was affiliated with the State University College at Oneonta and with the New York State Historical Association in Cooperstown, NY. In 1983 the program transferred to Buffalo State College, and relocated to the campus in 1987. The department today occupies a superb modern facility expressly designed to support conservation teaching and research in Rockwell Hall, the campus' hallmark building. A three-year graduate program with a full-time faculty committed to teaching, it offers a Master of Arts degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation." (from Website)
