Description
A color variation of the red fox (Vulpes vulpes or Vulpes fulva) found in North America, Europe and Asia. The cross fox is a yellowish brown color with a cross-shaped reddish or black marking extending across the shoulders and down the back. Their fur is long, soft and dense with silky guard hairs. Fox pelts have been used for trim, capes, collars and cuffs.
