Dehydration

Description

1) (physics) The removal of greater than 95% of the liquid water in a material. Dehydration is usually done by heating, freezing, or desiccation.

2)(chemistry) A chemical reaction that results in the loss of one or more water molecules (H2O) from a chemical compound.
