Double gold

Description
Gold sheets that are heavier and thicker than regular gold leaf. Purchased double gold, however, is not usually twice the thickness of regular gold and may only be may be 10-20% thicker. Double gold may also be prepared by using a double sheet of regular gold leaf. The thicker material is easier to handle and gives a brighter, more unified finish.
