Description

A physical state in which a material contains no moisture or other liquid. Heating to the point of evaporation usually takes a material from a wet state to a dry state. Paint is said to be dry when it is cured and set. In this case, curing may occur through polymerization and oxidation as well as by solvent evaporation.
