Description

A thick, partially oxidized form of linseed oil that dries faster than regular linseed oil. Sun-thickened linseed oil is prepared by allowing the oil to stand for a few days exposed to sunlight and air. It absorbs oxygen and becomes viscous. Sun-thickened linseed oil was used as a paint media since the 12th century.
