Firebrat

Description

A small, silver gray, wingless insect, Thermobia domestica, that lives in dark, warm interior regions, such as around furnaces, boilers and steampipes. The firebrats life cycle is 12 to 14 weeks and adult insects can reach 10 millimeters in length. Firebrats target starchy food such as paper, textiles, and wall paper sizing.
