Description

A group of natural organic colorants obtained from plants that contain hydroxyflavone. Flavonols are yellow compounds that are used as dyes and pigments. Some specific flavonols are chrysin, fisetin, morin and quercetin. Flavonol dyes tend to fade in strong light.
