Description

A pure, amorphous Carbon black pigment produced by the incomplete combustion of natural gas or oil. The gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons are burned with an insufficient amount of oxygen and the soot is collected on a sheet of metal above the flame. Gas black is used as a pigment in rubber, plastics and inks.
