Description
[Solutia] A registered trademark name for a series of polyvinyl alcohol polymers. Gelvatol® resins are available in over 10 grades with varying viscosities. They produce strong films that are resistant to grease and oils. Gelvatol® resins are used for paper coatings, textile sizes, printing inks, cosmetics, eye drops and water soluble packages.
Other Properties
Soluble in water. Insoluble in petroleum solvents.
