Description

[Geon division of BF Goodrich] A brand name for a polyvinyl chloride resin. When prepared without a plasticizer, the Geon resins are rigid and are typically used for molded plastic items and extrusions, such as luggage, grommets, toys, and automotive parts. Plasticizers are added to make Geon resins flexible. The flexible vinyl is made into fabrics, shower curtains, drapery, upholstery, belts, gloves, rainwear, foams, and sponges.
