Description

A plutonic Igneous rock resembling Granite but with less Alkali feldspar and with more Plagioclase. Granodiorite usually is dark in color and contains biotite mica and Hornblende. Examples of granodiorite are found in the Rosetta Stone and in Plymouth Rock.
