Inclusion

Description

A solid, liquid, or gaseous compound trapped within the matrix of another material, such as a (mineral) crystal, mineral, ceramic, metal, paper, or plastic. Inclusions, especially a large one or multiple small ones, may weaken the surrounding matrix.
