Description

[Eastman Kodak Co, NY] A registered trademark for 16 millimeter color movie film introduced in 1935. Kodachrome® film used a three color dye coupling process to produce the first color film. The dye coupling process, developed by Leoplod Godowsky and Leopold Mannes, incorporated the couplers in the emulsion with the dyes to keep them from migrating to other locations.
