The Laboratoire de Recherche des Monuments Historiques (LRMH) is dedicated to studies concrning 1) component materials of the cultural heritage : wood, stone, concrete, metals, paints and polychromies on wood and stone, textiles and glass 2) alteration phenomenons which endanger their conservation : alterations due to natural ageing, weather environment, pollution, micro-organisms; 3) conservation treatments to be implemented; 4) conservation conditions of historical buildings and the artefacts which are kept inside, preventive conservation.
