Description

A caustic white crystalline powder. Lithium hydroxide is used in photographic developing solutions. It is also used as a sorbent for carbon dioxide especially in spacesuits. Lithium hydroxide in used the in manufacture of alkyd resins and for the production of other lithium salts.

Soluble in water. Slightly soluble in ethanol.

Hazards and Safety
