Description

Any analysis method that does not alter the physical or chemical characteristics of the material. Examples of nondesctructive analysis methods include: X-ray fluorescence analysis, UV-vis fluorescence, neutron activation analysis, Raman spectroscopy, Infrared spectroscopy… These methods may concern elemental or molecular analysis.
