Any analysis method that does not alter the physical or chemical characteristics of the material. Examples of nondesctructive analysis methods include: photography, CAT scan, infrared reflectography, hammer sounding, infrared thermography, moisture meter, neutron probe, ultrasonic testing, x-ray radiography.
