Description

[Center for the Book, University of Iowa] A brand name for a thick, tough paper sheet handmade from raw flax. PC4 flax paper is cooked in lime without fermentation to provide maximum strength. The long fibers provide good tear resistance and high fold endurance. The paper was specifically designed for paper case bindings. Production of PC4 flax paper was discontinued in 2016
