Description

A photographic method to accurately digitize images of a physical object. Photogrammetry has been used to survey topography, buildings, and archaeological sites. Using stereoscopic precision cameras and reference marks, a series of accurately scaled and oriented photographs are obtained. Once the photographs are digitized, a scale model of the entire object or location can be reconstructed on the computer.
