Semidrying oil

Description
A vegetable oil that slowly dries over time. Semidrying oils dry too slowly to be used in artist paints. Their rate of drying can be accelerated using siccatives. Examples of semidrying oils are sesame oil, cottonseed oil, and soybean oil.
