Description
Golden leaflets with a metallic luster. Stannic sulfide, or Mosaic gold, is used to make gold color paints for imitation gilding and bronzing on metals, plaster, wood, and paper.

Other Properties
Soluble in aqua regia and alkaline solutions. Insoluble in water or dilute acids.
