Description

A type of brass used for casting. Sterro metal is composed of brass with about 40% zinc and 1-2% iron. It was first made in the late 19th century used for machinery and marine parts. Other brasses with similar compositions were Delta metal, Aich's metal, Gedge's metal and Mach's metal.
