Thermoplastic polyesters

Description

A class of Polyester resin that melt when heated. Thermoplastic polyesters are used for films (Mylar®, Melinex®), fibers (Dacron®, Terylene) and soda bottles. Examples are Polyethylene terephthalate and Polybutylene terephthalate.
