Flower of pagoda tree Sophora japonica

Description

A yellow-green dye developed from the flower buds of the Japanese Pagoda tree, Sophora japonica, native to Japan, China and India. Waifa green is produced by dipping Alum mordanted Cotton in the flower extract then drying the cloth in the sun.
