Description

A surface sealant or treatment that prevents the penetration of water. Waterproofing agents, such as Rubber, vinyl, Wax, Silicone, or Asphalt, can be used to coat a variety of surfaces (Cement, Masonry, textiles, Paper, etc.). Other types of waterproofing agents, such as Alumina, Lead acetate, or metallic oxides, can be impregnated into surfaces to seal pores and repel water.
