Description

Glass can be made a transparent yellow color by the addition of small amounts of uranium oxide (bright yellow), cadmium sulfide (lime yellow), metallic silver (golden), selenium (yellow-orange), iron-manganese (straw) or iron sulfide (amber) or a mixture of antimony and lead.
