Description

Yellowish odorless powder. Zinc tannate is made by a Tannin solution with zinc hydroxide dissolved in Ammonium hydroxide. It is a astringent tanning agent used for processing skins.

Insoluble in water, alcohol. Soluble in dilute acids.
