A brand name for an insecticide composed of 1% pyrethrins and 10% piperonyl butoxide in a 40% silica gel base. Drione is a toxic mixture that also acts as a desiccant for the insects. It is primarily used on dry wood termites although it is often difficult to place the insecticide within the location of the colony.
