Solvent green 3

Description

A non-toxic, green dye derived from anthraquinone. Solvent Green 3 appears as a dark green-black powder. It is used in plastics, rubber, printing inks, gasoline, oil, lubricants, waxes, cosmetics and medications. Solvent Green 3 has also been used for many years in smoke formulations, but when it is inhaled, the dye clears very slowly from the lungs (half time = 280 days).
