Description

[Grumbacher] A brand name for some synthetic latex emulsion artists' paints. Hyplar Acrylic Colors were introduced in 1962 as an acrylic emulsion paint for artists. A slight formula change was made in 1966 (Grumbacher website 2000). Another paint series, Hyplar Artists' Colors, contains a copolymer emulsion of polyvinyl acetate and an acrylic resin.
