Amine

Description

A class of organic compounds in which one or more protons have been replaced by an -NH functional group. Amines are referred to as primary, secondary or tertiary depending on whether one, two or three of the hydrogen atoms are replaced by an organic substituent. All amines are alkaline and with react with acids to form salts.
