Ammonium thiosulfate

Description
A white crystalline solid that is used as a photographic fixing agent. Ammonium thiosulfate is also used as a fungicide, a metal lubricant, and an analytical reagent. It acts as a reducing agent that is effective for cleaning metals and alloys containing tin, zinc, lead, or silver.
