Description
An acid-free bristol board with good aging properties. Archival boards are generally composed of at least 94% alpha cellulose and are buffered with 3% calcium carbonate. In 1980, the Library of Congress stipulated that archival paperboard products be sulfur-free, lignin-free, alkaline pulped and contain an alkaline reserve of 3-5%.
