Asphalt concrete

Description

A general name for a road paving material composed of Gravel aggregate bound with Asphalt (Bucher 1996). Asphalt concrete is applied hot then pressed with a heavy roller. Specific types of asphalt concrete include Macadam and vulcanite pavement.
