Belting leather

Description

A thick, strong and durable leather. Belting leather can be either vegetable or chrome tanned. After tanning it is stuffed with oil to produce a heavy, but flexible material. Belting leather was formerly used in automobile transmissions, pulleys, machinery and furniture.
