Description
A dark brown, odorous liquid obtained from the destructive distillation of bone. Hartshorn oil smells of ammonia and Pyridine. Bone oil is an unwanted byproduct from overheating bone glue. It is sometimes used to denature alcohol.

Hazards and Safety
Evolves toxic ammonium cyanide when heated to 180C.
