Description

A soft, fuzzy cord or yarn made from silk, worsted, cotton, or synthetic fibers. Chenille yarn is used for tufted embroidery, fringe, and tassels. A fabric made from chenille yarns is also called chenille. The fabric is used for sweaters, pile bedspreads, and expensive rugs.
