Description
1) A breed of hornless sheep with thick short Wool originally raised in the Cheviot Hills between England and Scotland.
2) A rugged, woolen fabric with coarse Twill weave. Cheviot fabric originated in Scotland where it was made from the wool of cheviot sheep. Slightly rougher and heavier than Serge, the durable fabric is used for Flannel coats and suits.
