Differential thermal analysis

Description

A technique used to measure the ability of a material to absorb heat as the temperature of its external environment is increased by a controlled temperature program. differential thermal analysis (DTA) can recognize the presence of additives in a material, such as solvents. DTA also provides information about heat capacity.
