Georgia white marble

Description

A coarse-grain, white Marble quarried near Tate, Georgia. The marble polishes to a high gloss and is used for statuary, monuments and buildings. Some brand names for Georgia white marbles are:

- Amicalola: a high gloss white marble used for interior and exterior decoration

- Kennesaw: a white marble with pale gray clouds

- Southern: a very white marble used for the interior and exterior of buildings

- White Georgia: a white, high gloss marble used for monument and buildings.
