Growanstone

Description

A fine-grain stone produced from the decomposition of feldspathic granite found in China, England and Wales. Growanstone, or petuntse, contains quartz, mica and fluorite and is considered an important addition to the kaolin for the production of porcelain. It is also used in glazes.
