Laid paper

Description

A type of Paper, typically hand-made that has a visible fine grid Watermark over the entire sheet. The pattern in laid paper is produced by the wire screen used in its manufacture. The parallel lines in one direction are heavier and more widely spaced than those in the orthogonal direction.
