Description

[Reckitt Benckiser] A registered trademark for a liquid antiseptic, disinfectant, and fungicide. Lysol contains soap, Ortho-phenyl phenol and ethanol as active ingredients. The brown, oily liquid is miscible with water and alcohol. Lysol® has been used as a fungicides in starch, glue, and polyvinyl acetate emulsions. Dilute solutions have also been used for removing lichens from granite (Wainwright 1986).
