Nickel sulfate

Description
A crystalline powder that is an opaque blue at room temperature but when heated slightly turns greenish. Nickel sulfate is used in electroplating baths. It is also used as a mordant in dyeing and printing.

Hazards and Safety
Toxic by inhalation and ingestion. Skin contact can cause allergies. Carcinogen.
